Economic analysis
Resources are scarce and public policy choices need to be informed by assessment of the rationales for intervention and its costs and benefits. ICF GHK has experience of applying economic analysis in policy fields where the assessments of costs and benefits are most difficult, such as: sustainable development; health; social capital; and, human rights. Analytical methods used include: intervention logics; assessments of supply and demand; hedonic pricing; monetisation; econometric modelling; and, cost-effectiveness and cost benefit analysis at the intervention level. Economic analysis is regularly used to inform value for money assessments of a wide range of policy, programme and project level interventions.
