ICF GHK has been commissioned by the European Commission to coordinate the activities of the European Employment Observatory (EEO). ICF GHK provides coordination and support to networks of independent thematic experts, independent national labour market experts (SYSDEM) and officials from employment ministries and public employment services (MISEP). ICF GHK’s tasks include the production of regular outputs (some of which are confidential to the Commission) and others, such as the Newsletters, EEO Reviews and the EEO website, which are publicly available. GHK has undertaken this work for the Commission since 2005 and is currently delivering it under a contract running from 2009 until 2013. ICF GHK is assisted by the Czech Institute CERGE-EI and by a network of experts from the participating countries.
